Occupational Health
The Occupational Health Program at Texas A&M University integrates
exposure assessment, risk mitigation, and medical surveillance services
to improve the occupational health and safety of the Texas A&M University
community and to comply with federal and state regulations.
Occupational health services at Texas A&M University are provided by two entities
on campus:
- Occupational health needs for chemical safety, respiratory protection, and hearing protection are provided by Environmental Health and Safety (EHS). For additional information on the EHS occupational health services, call 979-845-2132.
- Occupational health for biological hazards, which includes microorganisms, biological toxins, and allergens from humans or animals, is provided through the Biosafety Occupational Health Program (BOHP) and administered through the Office of Biosafety. Health care services are provided by a health care provider under contract to Texas A&M University.
